Introducing... ‘The Corker'.

Chocolate and vanilla ice-cream milkshake topped with a choc chip cookie baked with a brownie inside, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. YUM.

This is available from TheBrownie Bar in Heaton, Newcastle (they do amazing brownie bombs too!)

So you've got a sweet tooth and ooh that salted caramel milkshake looks lush but so does that double chocolate fudge brownie too… don’t worry about choosing because now you can have both.

Oversized, overindulgent, overflowing and over the top.

A zillion calories and your heart will stop and arteries clog just by looking at it but you know you really want… no NEED a Freakshake.

Invented in Australia at Canberra cafĂ© Patissez, they’re now a worldwide phenomenon.

Mason jars are filled with milkshake and topped with … well pretty much anything and everything.

Even the edge of the glass is smothered with sauce and goodies.

Kids love ‘em and adults love 'em even more.

It’s as if someone has asked a small child to design the milkshake of their dreams, and they’ve made it a reality.

Search #freakshake on Instagram to see 49k+ posts of these milkshakes on steroids taking over the world.

Top tip: If you’re making your own, go large, the more the better and when you think you’re done then add 2 more cookies, half a tube more sauce, and sprinkles… always sprinkles.

And if you’re trying to #eatclean all I can say is sorry...not sorry!

Other Freakshake flavour combos from The Brownie Bar, all £5.50 each:

  7. I NEED ONE! I've been wanting to try a Freak Shake for such a long time but every time I try and go to Great British Cupcakery all the tables are taken and I can't get in ... might attempt the Brownie Bar next instead! This looks so good!

    1. The Brownie Bar is the place to go! I haven't found a nicer brownie in town, so moist and stodgy and delicious! I've also tried the Great British Cupcakery and would say their freakshakes are on par but the toppings at BB are better! x
